Hello,
my name is Monica and I am portuguese, from Portugal.
I´ve been living is Scotland for about 1 year and half.
I am a caring, friendly, honest and accountable person, with good organizational skills.
I like children, to play and talk to them and I am a very pacient and calm person. I think we can learn a lot with children. They remind us the simple and important things in life that we often forget when we grow up.
The experience I have is to take care of my younger brother when he was a child. We have 12 years difference between us. And most recently my cousin´s children.
I love music and arts and crafts. In my free time I do hand painted porcelain, wood and pebbles and also oil on canvas. I pratice Yoga and meditation. Is one of my passions. I love animals, I am vegetarian and concerned about health and environment.
In Portugal I worked in organic and healthy food shops and cafes, where I prepared simple meals such as soup, rice, salads, toasts, natural juices, as well in giving advice concerning with health to customers.
In Scotland I´ve been working in Cafes, in cleanings, as housekeeping in hotels and Care Homes. I can help as well with house cleaning.
