Hi, I'm Natalie ,
Throughout my academic career I have always aimed to work with children, this is what has led me to do a degree in Early Childhood Studies. I am currently in my third year of the course at Teesside University. This degree ends in June 2015 at the end of which, I am hoping to go into a career in social work.
Due to this degree, I have learnt the importance of implementing the EYFS (early years foundation stage), including childhood milestones, learning through play and how every child is unique. I am educated in the importance of play and how it is vital to a child's development.
I am looking for part time hours due to my university commitments of three days a week. (Two days a week after Christmas) I wish to gain experience in all areas of childhood and have no preference in age or reservations about working with children with behavioural problems.
I am an enthusiastic and positive individual, qualities which I think are essential to work with children. I am able to communicate on different levels according to development as well as liaise with parents and other agencies if necessary.
