Harriet (hattie), sitter - NE2 Heaton

Hello! My name is Hattie and I am 24 years old. I am originally from a lovely little village in Somerset and am an extremely family orientated person. I came to Newcastle 4 years ago for university. I currently live in Jesmond with my partner Nick. I now hold a First Class BA (Hons) in Performance and have just completed my MA Theatre and Performance. I teach drama and performing arts on Saturdays at Razzamataz Theatre Schools Newcastle. I have three beautiful younger cousins who I adore spending time with, and two gorgeous Godsons. I work a zero hour contract at local theatre Northern Stage and my favourite time of year is Christmas, Christmas show audiences are the best and I love being able to engage with our younger audiences. I am part of a theatre company and we are currently touring our debut show. I love to sing and am happy and willing to get my hands dirty: arts and crafts, cooking, baking (can't promise I'm brilliant but it's always good fun), gardening. I love to be out in the fresh air and think this is really important for children. I also have a great passion for engaging children in performing arts, its great for confidence and making friends. A child's creativity is precious!

I am available to provide childcare on Sundays and weekday mornings. There are times I am away or need to be in rehearsals, so I can only commit to shorter hours and Sundays at this time. I share a car with my partner and have a clean drivers license. I have only just started driving again after a bit of time so am getting used to driving in the city, I am happy to travel to and from work, but at this stage would not want to state that I'd be comfortable driving children. I started babysitting in my teen years when I still lived at home, and I always found it a very rewarding job.
