I'm currently finishing my degree in social policy and only have one month left. I come from a family with five children and a large extended family and have always help to look after the younger children. I love cooking and cleaning as well as looking after children and have helped tutor second year student in maths and helped primary school children with maths and other subjects. I believe children thrive in a happy, fun and calm environment which is something I am to provide. Most of my experience has been with children in my own family or in private nursing homes with older adults but the skills I learned in nursing residential settings such as activities and games can be applied with children as well.
