Josie, sitter in Oldridge EX4

Hello, my name is Josie. I have recently relocated to Exeter from Manchester, where I was a student at the University. I have just started a new role at Exeter College in the library service which I love. A large part of my job involves communicating and engaging with students, of all ages and abilities. I therefore consider myself to be a fun and confident individual, who is happiest when chatting and helping others.

My undergrad degree was in the arts and so I am interested in letting children embrace crafts and creativity. I also enjoy the outdoors, and encourage children to play outside, explore and go for walks. I am always interested in trying something new, I believe myself to be adaptable and up for anything!

I have babysat for various friends of the family since I was 15. The youngest child I babysat was 1 year old, the oldest 12 or 13. I am therefore confident in my ability to look after a spectrum of ages.

I have volunteered in schools, in England, India and Kenya, where I helped create lesson plans, play with pupils and deliver lessons to both non native English speakers and English speakers.
