Sophie, sitter - PR3 Longridge

Hi my name is Sophie- I am a enthusiastic, honest, reliable fun, loving and energetic individual who has a passion towards looking and caring after children.
I have recently completed a childcare learning and development Level 3 course. The course involved me attending placements in early year setting. Placements which I attended included, preschool, nursery and primary school.
The primary school which I completed my placement at, asked for me go back again if I was in need of a placement during any time. Therefore for my last placement I did choose to go back there as I very much enjoyed working within a primary school setting. My college course has enabled me to work with children aged between 0-16 years.
My ambition is to become a primary school teacher, however currently I am working for an on line business in haberdashery as I am studying for my maths GCSE. I chose to do this as I have worked there part time since I was 15. It is a family business therefore they are flexible with my hours which has allowed me to attend college for my maths.
While taking this year out I still want to have involvement with children. I am looking for voluntary work with children as I want to keep my experience and knowledge up to date until I apply for university to study teaching.
