Sophie, sitter in Ramsgate

My name is Sophie , I am 20 years old am and currently doing a Child Psychology course at the University of Portsmouth, though live in Ramsgate during summer, and over Christmas and Easter. Being the oldest of four children, and having 7 cousins, all of whom live nearby, I have been looking after children for as long as I can remember. I have also taken care of the children of family friends and neighbours, did work experience in a Primary school looking after Year 2 children (6-7 year olds), and Au Paired for two children in Italy this summer.
My best quality as a caretaker is probably the way I can connect with children; I believe they feel comfortable around me and see me as someone who they can rely on, as well as have a good time with. This not only makes the experience better for the child, but also for me! I believe its better to have fun whilst playing with the children and enjoying activities rather than just sitting and watching them attempt to entertain themselves alone - I have a very hands on method!
If you would consider me for a job I would be very grateful and I'm sure I could get shining references from past employers and babysat children alike!
