I am a fully qualified teacher currently tutoring so that I can spend more time with my two young children.

I live in Meopham and am able to drive for sessions but equally have room to tutor from home if preferred.

I teach KS1and KS2 and have experience with the phonic screening check, SATs and 11+.

I tutor across the primary age and plan sessions myself based on discussion with parents, child`s interests and learning taken place in previous sessions. I log what has taken place each session and discuss this with parents as and when wanted/necessary.

I very much believe that overall, as well as helping them with their learning, sessions should be fun for children. I appreciate that your child has already had a long day/week at school before arriving for their sessions so, depending on how your child learns and what they enjoy, I use games, laptops/iPads to keep them interested as well as pen and paper! I primarily tutor English and Maths but if your child has a particular interest in other subject areas then I try to link these where possible too.

THE HOLLIES CRECHE has a room dedicated to your child's play including toys and messy play. It also has a large garden for that important outdoor play!
