My name is Leila , I am a 16 year old girl who is one of five children. My siblings ages range from 2-18 years of age. I am the second oldest child who has a hand in caring for my own siblings and caring for the children of my cousins. I am currently doing my Early Years Educator course at College, the Cache Level 3 Diploma. I studied Child Development at school and recieved an A grade. I have fed children and looked after them when primary carers are not present. I am seen as a very maternal individual who shows care and affection to children. During the past 2 years I have helped with the upbringing of my 2 year old brother and enjoy babysitting him when my parents are not available. I have currently done 2 weeks of work experience in a nursery and still do go to a daycare nursery on Mondays and Tuesdays as a part of my course. I enjoy doing and learning activities and songs that children may be familiar with to ensure they stay entertained. I have a way of dealing with "silly" behaviour if it is consistent a child may need to have some time to them self before apologising for thier actions.
