I am currently working at St. Pauls Primary school as a play worker in the breakfast club and the after-school club, my role in there varies from making the children food to interacting with the children through various activities such as arts and craft and outdoor play. My main role is to keep the children safe and ensure that they feel comfortable and are having fun in our school club. I studied Health and Social care at level 3 at Hyde Clarendon college, I achieved a merit overall for the first year and then went on to have a full time job as a nursery nurse, I didn't feel like that was the right place for me so after six months I returned back to where I had my college placement here at St. Pauls Primary school.
I originally wanted to study midwifery and it is still something that interests me but for now I feel like working with primary children and helping them is the right job for me at this moment in time.
I would say that I am a very polite person, I always use my manners and have respect for everybody that I come into contact with. I understand that people are different in a lot of ways, whether that be because of their background or their hobbies and interests and I know not to be judgmental of people because I don’t think it’s fair and think that everybody deserves a chance.
