I am a 45 year old woman and a parent to 2 boys now aged 18 & 13. I have worked in various child care settings since I was 17 years of age only having career breaks to have my own children but always going back into child care of some sort.
I am NVQ level 4 qualified and have been a nanny to a 6 week old up to 2 1/2 year old. I have worked in primary schools and mainly in preschool settings.
I have been driving for 27 years and have a clean driving licence and clean driving record.
I very rarely drink and definitely won't touch alcohol if I am working the next day or driving anywhere.
I make playdough and love a bit of messy play. I love to go outdoors in all weathers, even if for only a short time. I believe children should be as independent as they are capable of being and promote this in their learning.
