My name is Sophie, I'm 19 years old, 20 in a few months. I currently do volunteer work at a youth club called Kaos in ashingdon which I really enjoy because I like to gain new experiences and I've always enjoyed working with children. I've been working there once a week for a good grew weeks now as well as helping out with the monthly discos they hold. I've always been involved with the upbringing of children, due to having siblings and family friends with children. Also in school I did a weeks work experience in a nursery where I looked after children ages 6 months up to ages 4 I loved it. Also I studied child development at GCSE level and earned grade A by the end of it. I really enjoy interacting with the children as well as keeping them entertained with different activities such as games, crafts or cooking. I believe that the children should enjoy being looked after by their babysitter from having a great experience.
I have spent most of my life looking after my younger siblings and I know there are so many people out there that charge so much for babysitting. I charge £5 an hour because I enjoy babysitting and being helpful for other people so I think it's only fair to charge a small cost for something that I love doing. It also gives the parents more money to go out and enjoy their time together and have a break every once in a while.
