My name is Kay , I am 23 years old and I am a South African living in Benfleet. I will be starting a job as a Healthcare Assistant this year, but I currently have some time on my hands and would love to look after your children as and when you need me!
I am a very professional person, yet caring and I do like to have fun. I enjoy working with children because they inspire me to learn from them in so many different ways - the biggest one being putting someone else first! I believe I can teach children good, strong values, regardless of the amount of time I spend with them. However, I do like to get to know the kids I work with, and treat each child as a different person, with individual needs and an individual character.
I enjoy playing educational games with kids (age-appropriate games) for example - with a toddler I would play colour games, number games (depending on their age/level) and anything else that would be educational and fun! With older kids I enjoy playing card games for a bit of fun, and some word-learning games are also always good. I love the outdoors (I am South African after all) so I like to make regular trips to the park if the weather allows it.
I do have a lot of patience, and I am a carer by nature. I pride myself on being responsible and trustworthy. I also learn quickly, so if your child has any special needs, I am certain I will be able to adapt my approach to suit. Your children will be safe and secure with me! (And as an added bonus - I have recently completed a First Aid Course which covered difficult situations which babies and children could find themselves in, and I am confident in my training.)
