I am 17 years old and currently studying CACHE Level 2 introduction to Early Years Education and Care at Middlesborough collage , this course requires me to volunteer into a placement within the childcare sector, so I do posses the skills and knowledge when looking after children. Personally I have basically raised my nephew from birth, he is now coming up 4 years old and he is challenging in behaviour due to his parental upbringing, so I am aware of how to deal with any negative behaviour effectively and appropriately. Within my placement I spend time with children from the ages of 12 weeks to 6 years and enjoy the variety of age ranges I get to encounter as it gives me different experiences. I am a warm, polite and ambitious person with a cheerful personality , creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
