Laura, sitter in Swansea SA1

My name is Laura. I'm 22 and a graduate from Swansea University currently living in the Marina. I studied American Studies which included 6 months living and studying in North Carolina, USA.

I consider myself well travelled and cultured, I speak a fair amount of Welsh and a small amount of French and I am currently taking a course in Italian. I am creative and crafty and would be able to help children with homework and reading.

Over the years, I have enjoyed caring for and working with young children. I have experience in babysitting and have spent time caring for young family members. I've experience looking after and babysitting children aged between 3 and 12.

I feel I have a caring nature and having completed my degree I would like to explore a career working with young children. I feel my intellectual skills and nurturing nature would equip me to do well in this field. I'm looking to further my career in teaching and with experience I plan on studying the Primary PGCE next year.

Other interests include a passion for art, reading and photography. I enjoy living on the coast and outdoor activities.
