Hello, my name is Megan Feathestone and i'm currently looking for a part time role to fit around my studies. Preferably on an evening, weekend basis and as an occasional babysitter although I can be flexible depending on my timetable.

Coming from a large family, I’ve always been the Auntie/Cousin that everyone wants to play with. Having a friendly yet disciplined attitude with five years plus experience has made me very successful when working children from different ages and backgrounds. I enjoy working with children; it is not only fun, but rewarding too.

Being very successful when caring for my families and friends children has enabled me to work for other families from recommendations. Most recently during my time at university, as a student ambassador I was heavily involved in designing and delivering specialised forensic activities, primarily to school and college students. Chosen by my university, I’ve worked at a family orientated festival called Deershed in Thirsk twice and Latitude festival In Suffolk, delivering numerous forensic science workshops including Murder Mysteries and Detective Games to children of all ages. Personally, planning these events and teaching children was an incredible experience and achievement, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment and wish to pursue this longer.

I’ve cared for children as young as 3 months old all the way up to teenagers, overnight including meal preparation and bathing. I’ve also worked in special needs schools with children with learning disabilities. I currently hold a BSc Honors Degree in Forensic Science and currently studying an MSc so I’m sure I can provide great homework help and tutoring in Math’s, English and Science. I am also on top form with health and safety and hygiene maintenance.

I’m a social, friendly and motivated individual who loves the outdoors, building dens and generally having fun. I have a recent DBS clearance document which I believe is an extremely information factor, knowing your children are safe crucial and can travel.
