Lauren, sitter - TN40 Bexhill

Hello I'm lauren I'm 31yrs old and have 3 children aged 11, 7 and 1. I first took an interest into this amazing role from secondary school with my work experience placement being a nursery and child development being a GCSE.
I have had vast experience working with children from ages 0-16 - some with challenging behaviour and others with individual needs.
I have a cousin that is profoundly deaf and learnt makaton sign language to communicate with him as a baby and as he got older I done a BSL course.
I also have a neice with type 1 diabetes so am learning to administer insulin.
I'm willing to learn and am always up for a challenge.
I'm happy out going and will always be on the child's level. I have good listening skills and am honest, reliable and trustworthy. I love what i do and I'm interested in any range of childcare that is available.
When working in a childminders I was the main play leader... from signing children in on arrival to planning and setting up activities, supervising lunch times, changing nappies and putting little ones down for their nap, filling in relivent paperwork and being observant to any children with medical needs or allergies., i enjoy taking the children out for day trips to various locations, arts/ crafts and creating, exploring woods/ bug collecting (for certain topics) rainy days are fun inside or outside with a range of activities for all weather but always making sure that arrangements were age appropriate to suit and that it was always a safe environment.
I was a housewife so helping around the house comes naturally to me and making sure the children are happy.
I have been a part time mothers helper/nanny looking after newborn twins which was only temporary for a short period of time while the lady visited from America and also looked after an older child which I still see occasionally 😊
