I am a 17 year old from Pen Y Graig. I am hoping to go into midwifery after I finish sixth form and currently volunteer on the local maternity wards on a regular basis. This summer I will be traveling to Kilimanjaro in order to complete a 3 week midwifery placement in the local hospital as well as volunteering in a local orphanage. I am a bilingual welsh/English speaker. I achieved A*, A & B grades in my GCSEs last year and am currently studying Religious Studies, Chemistry, Biology & English Literature. When I am not in school I enjoy reading and attending concerts. I have experience caring for children from 3 months old up to 14 years old. I have helped my family & friends with child care and baby sitting for the last 3 years. I have experience caring for children with disabilities, including the visually imparted. I feel that my experience would allow me to give great care to your children and ensure that they are looked after safely and feel happy.
