Grace, sitter in Torquay

My name is Grace . I'm 20 years old. I'm currently looking for permanent childcare work, about 16-20 hours per week but willing to extend, from July onwards, however I am also available for babysitting whether frequent or on occasion.

I love working with children and have a natural ability to engage with all ages. I'm fun, firm but fair, and responsible. I am currently looking into taking a paediatric first aid course which meets the OFSTED and EYFS requirements for first aid covering babies and children, as soon as possible.

I've worked with children previously, before moving to Torquay I was a volunteer assistant in a nursery for 2 years caring for children from 18 months - 3 years. I would be responsible for their safety, learning and development, planning age appropriate lessons and leading activities such as 'Music Time'. I also babysat frequently for a private household with two children aged 2 years and 6 years. I'd pick them up from nursery and after school activities respectively, help with school homework such as reading and maths, take them on outings, carry out daily and bedtime routines, and entertain them with games, a mix of made up and favourites they already owned.
