I have three years experience as a teaching assistant for Year 3 students during Sunday school sessions. My job entailed ensuring children paid attention, supervising individuals with special needs, and assisting with planning and carrying out activities and lessons.
I have babysat on half of multiple families in the village of Waddesdon. My role includes helping the children with homework, playing board games with them, creating arts and crafts projects, reading bedtime stories, and ensuring their safety.
I designed, developed and delivered music workshops to several primary schools in Oxford, to encourage Year 4 and 5 students to take up learning a musical instrument.
I individually tutored two Year 5 girls who were struggling with Maths.The sessions resulted in clear improvements in the girls confidence in the subject which they stated at the conclusion.
Additionally I individually tutored a French GCSE student to help her master her language skills and proficiency in French. This required lesson planning, organising session times and effectively teaching grammar concepts.
