My name is Emmie and I am an 18 year old girl from West Bridgford. I have just finished my AS level exams so I now have a lot of free time and I am happy to help any afternoon, evening or weekend. Even when I start my A Levels in September, I will still be free all weekdays after school, evenings and weekends. Although my AS levels aren't a childcare qualification, I have lots of experience with children. My family are foster carers so I am used to looking after, babysitting and caring for children, aged 5 to 14. I love reading bed time stories, helping with homework and organising activities. My admirable academic grades so far will enable me to help children with homework. As I have recently bought my own car, I have had much more responsibility for the foster children, such as taking them out for day trips and doing the school run. I have volunteered and done work experience in primary schools and helped regularly with after school clubs. I have also had work experience at QMC on the labour ward and volunteered in a care home. I have done these because of my caring nature, but they have also taught me to be punctual, reliable and professional. I regularly clean my house and help with the other jobs such as cooking as both my parents work full time, so I am used to helping look after the children. I want to pursue a career in childcare, so I hope you will consider me for baby sitting and looking after your children because as well as the fact I thoroughly enjoy childcare, I would love the opportunity to further my experience.
Occasional babysitting | $5.00 per hour |
I do not have any real qualifications in childcare as I am still a student doing A Levels so I do not expect a very high pay.
