Sammy, sitter - WF3 Tingley

Hi, I'm Sammy, I'm 17 years old and an A-Level student at Woodkirk Academy. I'm looking for a future in child care whether that be a child's nurse or a teaching role. I'm an outgoing and reliable person with experience looking after children of different age groups. This experience has come from a work placement at Westerton Primary school, a horse riding school for disabled children and from babysitting my niece and nephew since they were around 4months old.
I'm very passionate about working with children and do my very best to make sure that I am active and playful when around them as well as making sure to meet all of their needs.
A great child carer needs to be an individual who the parent can trust to leave with their children. I believe that I can live up to this due to the training I have gained from my placements and due to the person that I am.
I recently completed a first aid training course and due to this I have become much more confident knowing that if I was every in an emergency situation where a child needed help I would be able to do everything in my power to make sure that they are safe and out of danger.
