Laura, after-school childcare in Arbroath DD11

My name is Laura, I'm 24 years of age and I'm originally from Glasgow. I moved up to Arbroath in February of 2012 looking for a job although I was not successful but started looking at college courses. This was when I noticed an Early Education and Childcare at Angus College that sounded interesting. Applying for this course was the best decision I have ever made and 3 years down the line I am still studying and I am in my final year. In my 3 years of this course I have experience in private nurseries, primary school nurseries and a primary 1 class. I'm very friendly, have a great sense of humor and I'm not afraid to join in with what the children are doing, whether I had a be a cat I would get down on the floor and be a cat. I am also competent when it comes to looking after children and I can work to my own initiative. Finally, I have 3 years experience of working with children in many different settings. I have experience in creating my own activities, reading stories to the children and observing children. I also have experience in preparing snack and also have experience using the brush bus.
