Kerrie, after-school childcare - CA11 Penrith

Hello,

I am a University Student currently studying Social Work at Lancaster University! I studied at Ullswater Community College studying Child Development and Health and Social Care at GCSE and then proceeded to study the Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education!

I have partaken in various placements across nurseries and reception classes giving me the experiences from 0-5. I am capable of helping with homework, preparing interesting learning opportunities which reflect the areas of the EYFS and ultimately providing a safe environment for the children to learn and thrive in!

Aswell as this the qualification has given me the opportunity to gain Awards such as First Aid, Food and Hygiene, a DBS, SIDS awareness award and Working with children with disabilities award.

I believe learning for children should be fun, exciting and child initiated with adult guidance to help them achieve there best!
