I am a mature lady who is a qualified nurse but am looking for a career change with less hours! I like to keep fit in my spare time by walking my dogs and taking classes in yoga and pilates.
I have brought up my own two children (who are now both grown up) and not living at home. Although I do not have any childcare qualifications I have worked in the care sector since leaving school in home care, nursing homes and have cared for my mum who passed away in July 2014.
I feel that I am friendly and approachable and am non-judgemental. I respect individuals and understand the need for confidentiality at times and like to treat each person as an individual.
I have always liked being around children and initially wanted to become a nursery nurse but was persuaded to become a nurse instead. I qualified as a nurse in 2012 (as a more mature student!) but feel as if I now require part time work which is just a little more relaxing.
