Hi, I'm Alex. I'm 26 years old and native English speaking. Even though I have minimal previous experience, I have been commended on my friendliness and communication skills. With a sensitive, patient and empathic nature and a love for children, I believe this makes me a great candidate for childcare. As well as being reliable and organised, I enjoy being hands on - open to cooking meals and cleaning. I am also a good listener with a curious temperament and this helps with engaging with children. With straights A's and a first class honours degree in textile design, I can help with homework (both primary and secondary). Being a part time musician, creativity is an important part of my life and also crucial to a child's development - so if it's desired, I can help with imaginative play, arts, crafts, educational games or music after school. At the base of everything I do, respect for the parents and child is at play, whether that's reflecting your parenting style or respecting your child's needs whilst also being responsible at the same time. Prioritising the safety of the children in my care is an obvious prerequisite to all the above which I would take very seriously.
