Karen, after-school childcare - NG31 Londonthorpe

I'm a mother of three lovely children age ranging from 12, 16 and 18, therefore have gained many skills in bringing up children and adapting my skills with a varying age of children. These skills I've also used whilst working at a breakfast and after school club at a local primary school. I've also used my skills whilst working with pre-school children at a local nursery for 6 years where I took on the role as a special needs coordinator which is a role I found very rewarding. Working in a nursery enabled me to use my experience as a parent using empathy and understanding on how they are feeling and on their needs and requirements regarding their child's care, adapting activities when needed, depending on the age and ability of the child. I'm looking to use these skills to offer help to a family who would appreciate my skills in looking after their child/children whilst supporting them to develop as an individual!
