I am a recently retired Midwife, a profession I have been proud to serve for the last 21 years, caring for mothers and babies from all backgrounds, and from other cultures. I have worked in the Middle East for many years.

I have a wide range of interests - I love reading, music, movies and travel. I enjoy cooking, mostly English cuisine, but I will try new recipes. An animal lover, I would describe myself more as a cat person, but love all animals. My big ambition is to travel to South Africa on a safari holiday - I still hope to accomplish this.

I have great nephews and nieces ranging from age 6 yrs to age 13 years, and enjoy spending time with them, happy to encourage their interests. I have quite an easy-going, placid personality; am happy to work as directed or with some flexibility.

I have a full, clean driving licence, and would be happy to travel any reasonable distance from my home.

This rate reflects my 20 years experience as a midwife, and would increase to £10 per hour for working Bank Holidays, except Christmas Day and New Years Day. The rate for those would be £15 per hour.
