Hello, I'm Andrea.

I'm a mature, energetic child carer seeking part-time work in Brighton.

I have a BA Hons degree in Linguistics. I have worked as a child minding assistant in the UK, looking after children from 0 - 6 years, in a lovely child centred setting. This included organising daily activities and outings, e.g. beach and forest school, creative arts, cooking, dropping off and picking up children from school, songs and introducing basic French, as well as potty training, feeding and sleep needs.
I have also worked with children in France, child minding and teaching English, as well as regular babysitting for family and friends.

I have completed child development training, paediatric first aid & food preparation / hygiene certificate. I am caring, fun and sensitive to children's individual needs.

I previously worked for the Children's Information Service and the Adoption and Fostering Service in Brighton and Hove. I have gained a good understanding of safeguarding and children's wellbeing needs.
