I am originally from Scotland though I have lived in lancaster for th last 20 years. I have two children who are now 22 and 19 years old. My partner is a chef, therefor when my daughter started reception class I went to college to do my diploma in childcare and education, so that I could get a job that worked around school hours and holidays since we found it hard to get reliable babysitters.

I have worked with children with learning difficulties, as well as children on the autistic spectrum. I have worked in a nursery with a baby unit and for the last 10 years I have been working in a lancaster primary school.

Although I do not drive, I enjoy spending time with my nieces, playing board games, doing craft activities and cooking, as well as walks to the park and along the canal to feed the ducks. I also sometimes babysit a friends 2 year old while she goes to work.

I get home from work about 4 pm Monday to Friday and would be available to babysit after that as well as during the weekends.
