Heta, baby sitting - TN34 Hastings

I'm a 20-year-old young woman from Finland and I came to study in the UK as it was my childhood dream.

I came to England in 2015 as an Au pair for a lovely multicultural family with two under 10-year-olds and finished my contract in the summer of 2016. After that I applied for the University here in Hastings and got in to study Education and English literature.

During my year as an au pair I did loads of different things with the kids from computer and board games to afternoons in the park or woods. Helping children with their homework is not an issue since my goal is to become a primary school teacher either here in England or back in my home country.

My strengths as a babysitter or a child carer are my almost endless patience and ability to adapt to different situations. I can maintain my authority with children while remaining nice and friendly with them.

What it comes to lunches and snacks, I've got experience with eaters of all kinds, from picky eaters those who'll devour anything you put in front of them. I always try to provide a healthy meal with the ingredients I have (even though sometimes a chocolate bar or a pack of crisps does the trick more efficiently).
