Hello my name is Colette

This summer (2014) I took part in the Camp America scheme where I went to America to work at a Girl Guide camp to look after children aged 9 to 16. My job position was a camp councillor this meant I looked after large groups of children (8 people to 32). I would make sure the children were ready for the day ahead by packing things they need for activities, go through rules, help homesick children, read to the kids at bed time and wake them up in the morning. The kids really enjoyed my company as I am caring, trustworthy and confident.

As well as working at a camp I have had experience in nurseries both where I am from and in Germany.

I have a real talent with looking after children as I keep them in a safe environment as well as having fun.
