Caitlin, babysitter in Brighton

I am a caring, friendly and approachable woman who spends her days working in the charity sector. I enjoy looking after children and spending time getting to know them. Encouraging children to read, to excel, to have high self esteem, to be happy - these are all things that are really important to me.

I am available for evening and occasional weekend babysitting. I'm based in central Brighton and am an avid walker so I'm happy to go to most locations in Brighton and Hove.

I love to play games - be it make-believe, board games, video games or outdoorsy games - and am good at judging appropriate games/content based on a child's age. I see children as people to speak to as equals as much as possible, rather than to speak down to, and I feel that it is important that respect goes both ways.

I have experience caring for children of varying ages, including one family with four children ranging from 6 to 11 (plus one dog!). I've looked after a family friend's child from when she was about 6 months old, and her older sister who is 2 years older than her. I've also had a lot of experience volunteering in a primary school setting, working with children in reception and years 1-2.
