I brought my own son up more or less on my own. He is now 27 and works as a primary school teacher.

I am, I would say, a down to earth person who likes to be happy and also make those around me happy too if I can. I would be willing to do part-time babysitting for a couple of hours or so as I work part-time myself and I don't mind working evenings either. I look after my grandchildren nearly every weekend from teatime saturday through till sunday dinner time which I enjoy immensely.
My qualities as a childcarer is to look after that child/children to the best of my ability, I have learned a lot looking after my grandchildren. I feel I have got the understanding for children and have time for them.
