Cerys, babysitter in Kettering

Hello there,
i am cerys, aged 17 and currently attend college studying level 2 health and social care. although it is not a typical, childcare course, i have learnt alot more about communication with children and what a child of a certain age should be having in their diets. furthermore, i have had an reasonable amount of experience working with and babysitting child. I lived with my nephew from newborn to now him being a two year old. this benefited me and got me to put my child working skills to the job! i gained confidence, self belief, patience and allowed me to elaborate on my initiative, as well as teaching me my love with being around children and teaching them. Also, i have another nephew now aged 1 and a half which i regularly see most weekends and babysit him time from time. As part of my college course, i experienced working with 5-6 year olds at a primary school for approximately 5 months which i throughly enjoyed. within this placement, i had to create 3 activities which were suitable for this age range. i had to plan, organise and do the activities which was extremely fun! i grew a bond with alot of the students and they definitely inspired me to take my ambition with working with children further. The type of care i am looking for is a part time babysitter/childminder. Due to my age i feel that working for at least 16hours + weekdays and the occasional weekends is an reasonable request. My qualities which i associate with myself are confident, hardworking, i use my initiative, i am organised, a great timekeeper, trustworthy, patient and i love getting messy with crafts! I have had alot of experience with other activities and games with my nephews who from the moment i wake up to the moment they to bed, i am always playing with them. these activities include playing football, watching tv, painting, colouring, playing with puzzles and jigsaws, playing with play dough, taking them to the the parks, taking them to lunch and taking my two year old nephew to nursery.
i would absolutely love it if you were interested in having me look after your children as i am an flexible person and i learn new skills rapidly.
