Hi, my name is Hetty and I am a second year geography student at Newcastle University. As a naturally sociable person I have a friendly personality and experience to offer!
I have experience working with children from a range of past employments. For 2 years I have worked during the holidays at The British Club Abu Dhabi’s holiday activity camps caring for children ages 4-12 years. As such I am experienced caring for a wide age range of children and can readily adapt my communication skills to do so. Alongside this job I also volunteered at a Brownies group for one year as part of my gold duke of Edinburgh award. In this position I worked with colleagues to look after large groups of children every week aged 7-10 years.
I’ve also babysat for many families for over 4 years and have also provided tutoring up to GCSE and A-Level ability. I am able to offer this in particular for biology and geography.
Having previously worked in restaurant environments, waitressing but also being taught to cook the menu, I am confident cooking for a wide range of diets. Additionally I would be happy to assist in any house work if required. Happy to be a general helping hand!
I’m confident and easy going and prepared to be very flexible as I have now finished university.
Please message any questions and I would be happy to chat!
