My name is Marleen and study at the moment Journalism and Languages at Uclan. I am a out going passionate person and always enjoyed working with people. Since a young age I liked to help in my community which helped me to gain experience in child care. I worked in holiday camps and a nursery but mostly did sport with children age 3-8 and Babysitting. During that time I gained qualifications as team leader and as assistant sport instructer as well as making my qualification in fist aid.
Besides my passion for children, my other passion is art. I enjoyed working with materials and create items, which was useful while working in the holiday camp. During my time in the holiday camps and in the sport union, I learned a number of games and creative ideas which I later also used while I was Babysitting.
I am a determined and hard working character, which brought me five years ago to the UK where I finished my A-Levels and later started a degree in Journalism and Languages ( German, Italian, French, Russian). In the soon future I would like to take a degree in Psychology with a focus in cognitive development as it would compliment my experience in child care. I am an enthusiastic, reliable and caring person and I believe my experience prepared me to take good care of the children and make sure they enjoy themselves.
