I'm a 17 year old student, I currently study level 3 childcare and I have worked in a nursery for 1 year, with ages ranging from 3 months to 5 years old. I have a variety of experience also from working within the setting and with babysitting children in my family such as siblings and cousins. I'm looking for any kind of babysitting jobs, these could be during weekends or after school or college hours preferably as my course is full time. I'm feel as though I am responsible and pick things up easily, therefore as I am working I can pick up new skills which may then help me with future career plans. I'm also trustworthy and punctual, I feel as though I have good communication skills and will be able to communicate well with the children. During the first year of my childcare course I have had the opportunity to plan and carry out a variety of different activities within the nursery I have worked in, because of this I will have a variety of different things to do with the children such as games and activities which can also help to further younger children's development. I'm currently moving into my second year of level 3 childcare and feel as though babysitting will give me the chance to put my skills into practice and even pick up on new things which I can then use in the future and put into my college work.
