I am a dedicated and conscientious worker who is friendly and approachable. I work well with others and individually as well as being able to remain motivated and productive as an individual. I am a bubbly person with an open mind ready to learn from the experience of others. Photography and skiing are two things that I have passion for. Other interests and hobbies of mine are playing badminton, cooking, going on bike rides, long walks and on the odd occasion I really enjoy painting.
I am reliable, determined, and outgoing and I work well with others and independently.
I attended Saddleworth Secondary School and then I attended Oldham College for 2 years; I studied an A Level Art and Design course that mainly focused on photography. While in my second year I was chosen by my peers to be the class representative and this required confidence listening to questions/complaints and being able to give my peers a satisfactory answer.
Also during my second year I did a paid photography job for a couple that saw my work and wanted me to take photos for their wedding.
I have been a waitress; for this I took food orders and served the meals to the customers, which also included plating of desserts and clearing the tables when they had left. When meal service time had ended, I ensured that all preparation and service areas were properly prepared for the next sitting. After this I got a job in door to door sales, I got people to donate monthly to the RSPCA.
I have volunteered for the British Heart Foundation for a few weeks. I had many roles, one of them was being on the till and serving the customers another was rotating clothes, books and DVDs amongst other things. I would also tag the clothes then steam them.
In summer 2016 I worked at festivals like Leeds fest and Parklife, I worked behind the bar and on the till. In this role I had to deal with a lot of pressure from the customers as well as having to turn people away for not having the correct ID.
I am now a Stafforshire university graduate and I’m looking for work preferably with children as I will be doing a course on teaching starting September and I love working with children. I have done some work experience in a primary school as a teaching assistant as well.
