Sophie, babysitting - FY1 Blackpool

Hello im Sophie , I'm 17 and i adore working with children, it's something I've enjoyed since I was young. I live in a family orientated home in Blackpool with my mum and younger sisters (7+11)
I am trust worthy to be left independently to look after children of all ages and have a friendly and welcoming personality, I strive to make sure that not only children feel comfortable and enjoy spending time with me whilst in my care but also parents, knowing their child is safe and happy is a priority I maintain.
Whilst in college I go to a nursery/primary school two days a week, I work hands on with children of all ages (0-5) and also have a younger sister whom is 7 who I often look after at home. I have gained a lot of experience; from warming bottles and changing nappies, to practicing counting and learning different colours.
I believe I have been influential on the children I have worked with and almost immediately they felt comfortable around me.
I have just completed my first year at college and am currently doing my level 3 child care Btec qualification, and am hoping to get a place at university to gain a degree in primary teaching (0-8) later on next year.
