Shashamani, babysitting in Featherstone WV10

Hello, I'm a 17 year old A level student in my first year studying English Literature, History and Textiles. I have achieved 11 GCSEs ( 5 A's and 6 B's) so I should be capable helping with your kids homework unless they're a part of Mensa!

I'm looking to care for toddlers to youth preferably at the weekend.

Experience:

I have experience working with Children as I am the Assistant Youth leader at my church where I am responsible for children ranging mainly from 5+. I enjoy teaching the children songs, baking from Rice Krispie treats to cupcakes and arts &crafts using recycled objects to make something new . My role also includes organising fun days such as game and movie nights from relay races to board games. I really enjoy my time with the Children being able to teach them new things and offering them support - I hope to be able to do the same with yours.

I'm a great baker although my culinary skills at this current moment are father basic.

Personal:

I come from a family of 5 with 2 siblings with me being the middle Child; so I've had experiencing looking after my own younger brother as well. My life is very family oriented and I pride myself on how close I am to my family and how much time we spend together as every Sunday we have a big family meal - grandad included and play games like cards and dominoes; so I can appreciate the importance of a stable family home.

hobbies:

I love movies from foreign to greats to the Lion King - as you can't go wrong with Disney!

I am an avid reader of literature with my favourite classic book being To Kill A Mocking Bird. That is why I am a part of my College Magazine with some of my articles even being published on the school website.

I absolutely love all things to do with creativity ( I can knit , sew and achieved an A in GCSE art) as my career goal in life is to be a textiles designer; so I could help your kids keep their creative juices flowing.

Currently I am independently learning Italian.
