Karen, babysitting in Southend-on-sea SS1

I am a well educated, friendly, patient, caring person who has worked with children and teenagers, between the ages of 6 weeks to 17 years old, for the past 15 years. My previous roles have included: teaching assistant, private tutor, respite foster carer and fostering support worker. I currently work as a 'School Crossing Patrol Officer' or as we are more affectionately known a 'lollipop lady'! I have had experience with children who have emotional, sexual and behavioural challenges. I aim to establish good relationships with all children. I am fair, but firm. I like to create a safe, fun and interesting environment tailored to each child. My interests include origami, pop up books, history, reading, concerts and shows, films, cats and travelling. My last CRB check was 19/9/2013. I hold a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
