Sarah, babysitting in Lancaster LA1

Hi, my name is Sarah and I am 22 years old. I have completed two years of a Biomedical Science degree at Oxford Brookes and am currently studying Midwifery at the University of Cumbria. I have my own car and am willing to travel. I am sporty, reliable and enthusiastic.

I have worked as a babysitter for a number of families in my area and I have family members with young children, who I have looked after on occasion. Whilst at Oxford Brookes I worked as agency staff for a childcare company: Kangacrew. This involved being sent to different nurseries across Oxfordshire to act as relief staff. Working for Kangacrew gave me experience with children between the ages of 4 months and 5 years old.
In the summer of 2014 I was an au pair for a month with a family in Madrid. They had two lovely little boys aged 1.5 and 3 years. I had to do the school run, dress them, put them down for naps and entertain them. This gave me invaluable experience in caring for someone else's children and I really enjoyed this opportunity.

I have a CRB/DBS check and a lot of experience, but I do not have any formal childcare qualifications.

I work 30 hours a week in practice as part of my midwifery course but I am mostly free when I'm not on shift. My shifts vary from week to week so, unfortunately, I'm unable to commit to set days.
