Jessica, babysitting in Livingston EH54

Hi there!

I am based in Livingston,

I am a post grad student, I'm going into my final year (of 7!!) of university doing a doctorate in counselling psychology. I'm 24, I'm from Ireland and I've been in Scotland for 3 years. I drive and have my own car!

I have worked all the way through school and university, for a few years in Tesco and then I got into social care, to support my studies. I've worked for the last three years with adults with autism as a support worker. I really loved this job, I am a caring and compassionate person, but I really want to work with kids. I am trained as a play therapist as part of my doctoral training, and I worked for over a year as a trainee therapist in a primary school in the east end of Glasgow. I really enjoyed this job, and it's the area I want to work in when I am qualified.

I have experience outside of my training with children too. When I was in Ireland I worked for a summer as a nanny to twin boys, one who had autism. I loved this summer, we were very active, out and about often having adventures and seeing new places. I also have loads of babysitting experience for many different families. My boyfriend has two young boys, 2yrs and 7 months (long story!) we live together and we have them 3 days a week, so I am used to young siblings and all the crazy that comes with them. I have suitable car seats too (bonus!)

I am a creative person, I love arts and crafts, making things and telling stories. I am forever working on new "projects" and I have a real enthusiasm for being on the go, I like the chaos! ☺️

I am really just looking for a family that I can join and get on well with, (be an extension of the family as cheesy as that might be) I'm easy going and friendly, and generally just a happy person!
