Rebecca, babysitting - SR1 Sunderland

Hi, I'm Bex, I'm 23 years old and I am married.
I graduated in 2012 with a BA (Hons) Sociology degree, and alongside my degree, I completed in the same year a NCFE Child Care Level 3 Diploma which I gained a Distinction in. I have always been passionate about working with children, and I felt that by studying towards this diploma, I could gain further knowledge about working with, and caring for children.
I am looking for babysitting roles predominantly throughout the evenings of Monday to Sunday, and on occasion, could offer babysitting during weekend days.
My experience of childcare first stems from caring for my sister ever since she was born (19 years ago!). I have also gained experience working in nurseries on work placements throughout sixth form, and I worked for a small dance company for three years where I taught children three to eight years old various dance genres including ballet, tap and modern.
My most recent experience of childcare is through caring for my niece who is four years old and my two nephews who are one and two years old (my husband’s side). I enjoy playing games, and participating in activities with my niece and nephews, and love to watch them grow!
My most favourite activities include: going to the park to play on swings; drawing and painting; exploring the garden; baking cupcakes; listening to music; and encouraging learning of numbers and reading.
I am a fun, caring, loving and hard-working person. I thoroughly enjoy working with children: caring for them, observing, and encouraging them to develop and grow. I thoroughly enjoy cooking, and enjoy baking (especially cupcakes which my niece loves!). I am a keen musician also: I play the piano, and I write songs – I would love to teach a child to play the piano!
I would love the opportunity to babysit for children of any age. I look forward to hearing from you.
