Charmaine, child care in Cambridge CB5

Who am I?

I'm Charmaine. Currently in my second year of my a levels course at one of the sixth form colleges in Cambridge. I'm originally from Singapore and my first language is english.

What type of care am I looking for?

Occasional babysitting over the weekends or evenings.

My qualities as a childcarer:

I have a outgoing personality and get along well with people of various ages.

I would be able to help children from primary school and secondary school with their school work. I got 6As and 1B for my GCE O level examinations. For my recent AS results, i achieved straight A s. Also, i used to tutor my younger sister who is currently in secondary school in Singapore. My strongest subjects are math and physics.

I'm a quick learner and have the willingness to learn. If there are additional tasks that you require to be done (e.g. mowing the lawn, walking the dog), i will do it but i will ask questions if i'm not sure if i'm doing it right.

I'm quite an active person and have played a variety of sports (netabll, basketball, hockey, badminton, swimming, football, frisbee, horse-riding). Also, i was a national chess player for singapore for about 8 years while studying in singapore. I am willing to teach chess if your child is interested.

My Experience:

Occasionally looking after my cousins and supervising my sister's work.

I used to be the goal keeper for my school hockey team back in Singapore at a college level before i moved to England. And before that i was in horse-riding up to a novice 3 level.
