Keely, child care in Plymouth

My name is Keely, I am a fifteen year old girl in year ten and I attend a grammar school in Plymouth. I am currently studying my GCSEs and am predicted As in all of my subjects, however I am currently achieving As and A*s. Although I do not have any proper experience with young children other than caring for my younger siblings since they were born (my sisters are now seven and five years old), I am due to take part in a week of work experience in a nursery towards the end of June 2015. This was organised through school and therefore after this week I will have had a wider range of experience with young children. I posses an easy-going and bubbly personality with the ability to get on with children and also ensure they behave without having to be strict or raise my voice at them; I am able to keep calm and compromise with children. I would prefer to babysit for a child between the ages of three and ten years old. I enjoy art and therefore drawing and painting would be an activity I would do with the children, as well as helping them with their homework, playing games and perhaps even baking cakes - of course ensuring that I tidy up the mess afterwards, leaving the house exactly the same as it was when I arrived. Cooking is not a strong point for me however I am good at keeping children entertained with all of my attention focused on them and ensuring they enjoy the duration in which I babysit for them. I would prefer to work evenings and it would be incredibly helpful if a taxi or a lift home were to be arranged. Many thanks and I do hope you get in touch.
