Hi I am Emma, a 17 year old female. I am currently studying Level 3 Health and Social Care extended diploma at Stoke Sixth Form College after leaving Trentham High school last year (2016), with the ambition to become a midwife. I am a fun, loving girl with lots of creative thoughts. I love fashion, animals and taking part in new experiences. I have previously been a recognised gymnast for Stoke-on-Trent but unfortunately I was unable to continue with this dream due to injury, over the years I have also grown a love for horse ridding and walking but I am always willing to try new things. Recently, once starting college I have also become a voluntary nurse working with end of life individuals at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. This is a hard hitting job, which tests my emotions weekly but I love spending time and caring for individuals who has a life limiting illness. This role has also taught me a lot about nursing care and has massively improved my confidence.
I am currently looking for baby sitting work, where I will be able to work last minuet, evenings, some week days, holidays and occasional events. I am also willing to work part time hours, with a similar work pattern weekly that will fit around my college timetable. Unfortunately I will not be able to work over night, permanent hours or full time due to other work commitments.
I find myself to be a very caring individual with a heart of gold. Many people describe me as enthusiastic and out going, with lots of confidence for people to stride off. I love being creative and will encourage all the children to take part in actives they love. I can do basic house work (cooking, cleaning, homework) and also have basic first aid training. I have experience of working with younger children in past jobs (nursery, Christmas elf and caring for friends and family). I have my own transport which will be available for last minuet booking as well as a flexible time scale. I am a non-smoker and also a pet lover.
I am enthusiastic and creative so I am always willing to try new things, I can do fun and games, as well as boring homework (which I will always try to make fun). I have recently taken part in a scheme called 'fit for work' at college where we took part in different activities weekly (wheelchair basketball, playground games, table tennis, first aid, yoga).
