Chloe, child care - NE1 Newcastle upon tyne

received excellent feedback from my work placements with two of the placements asking if I would be able go back again in the future. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at my placements and I got on well with all the children and staff. I am a friendly outgoing and sociable person who is kind, considerate and works hard to the best of my ability at all times. I have to communicate with staff at my placement as well as the children's parents and also staff at the college and social
workers and doctors who work with my grandma who has dementia, and I am able to change my communication styles to fit with the target audience. I am capable of working in difficult situations whilst working accurately with attention to detail for example whilst caring for my grandma, I needed to cook her
food while ensuing she was safe and making sure there was nothing around her she could harm herself with. As well as this when she ate her meals I had to keep a careful watch to ensuring she didn't choke on her food and also making sure she has
ate a fair amount. In addition to this I had to make sure I was looking after her calmly and carefully when she became agitated.
I am a very hardworking, dedicated individual who is always organised and enthusiastic. I come into college from 9am till 6pm
to revise and to complete all my course work to the deadlines as well as making time for placement, babysitting and
my card making business. I can work well whilst under pressure to the best of my ability for example I had revision for my exam, ass
ignments to finish in time for the deadline, as well as babysitting most weekends, while completing card orders and also looking after and caring for my grandma while moving house.
