Mhairi, babysitting in Bournemouth

I am an 18 year old girl who has grown up in Bournemouth so knows the area very well. My experience with children is very good for someone of my age due to assisting my mother with looking after babies and young children since I was 7 or 8. When I got a bit older I began to start baby sitting for close family friends and would look after their children for several hours at one time. I did several activities with the children such as go to the park, littledown swimming pool and also local play areas like The Play Cafe in Southbourne. Since I was 15 I have been a youth leader for children in years 3 to year 6 on a Tuesday night at 2nd Bournemouth Boys Brigade. At the church I would offer my assistance in the crèche area and help look after the baby's and younger children. Also I briefly did some work experience at Exton Road nursery helping to assist the children in their learning. After doing this I did another short work experience at Pokesdown Primary School.
